We only gain strength and endurance from strong core muscles. They support the spine and give the body genuine and lasting stability in its center. This is where the newly developed INTENSA equipment line comes in, which fundamentally differs from other training equipment. INTENSA stands for targeted and medically sound training that strengthens the back and abdomen from the inside out.
The INTENSA principle is based on a simple idea: while training with conventional sports equipment stimulates large and superficial muscles, INTENSA devices use rotational movement over small distances to stimulate the musculature. These movements specifically train the short and deep muscle fibers that are close to the pivot points of the joints. The result is an intensive stimulation of muscles that provide stability in the center of the body.
The implementation of this innovative idea, inspired by techniques from manual therapy and physiotherapy, maximizes the training effect for health-conscious people of all performance levels. Casual athletes and rehabilitation patients benefit from working with INTENSA devices, as do ambitious recreational athletes and professional athletes. Abdominal training, which not only focuses on purely external aesthetics, benefits from the INTENSA principle, as does intelligent prevention of intervertebral disc problems.
On all three devices of the INTENSA family, the spine is fixed during training. The spine thus becomes the "punctum fixum", and the pelvis becomes the "punctum mobile" – which is exactly the opposite with conventional training machines. The devices thus ensure that the deep muscles of the lumbar spine are stimulated effectively and without risk of injury. The kinetic energy reaches the points where it is intended to take effect – unhindered by compensatory counter-movements.
The individually adjustable training angle determines the intensity of the resistance the body has to work against.
