The ATX® Tactical Weight Vest is based on military-style body armor and has been modified in collaboration with a European military equipment company to meet the demands of functional fitness training. The weight vest features a slim fit for increased comfort and maximum freedom of movement during training.
On the inside, the comfortable mesh padding ensures optimal ventilation and is removable for washing or replacing. The shoulder straps and elastic waistband are adjustable for a snug fit, preventing the vest from moving or shifting during training. The unique wide neck design ensures comfortable pressure distribution during long training sessions and prevents pressure from the shoulder straps on the trapezius muscle or friction on the neck. This tactical weighted vest features a laser-cut MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system for adding weight plates . In addition, the hook-and-loop fasteners on the front and back allow the vest to be personalized with patches.
Our ATX® Tactical Weight Vest is compatible with almost all SAPI (Small Arms Protective Insert) 10 x 12 inch weight plates. We recommend using our ATX® Tactical Weight Vest Plates, made of steel with a tri-curved, ergonomic shape, which are available in pairs in three weight sizes.
