The MD Powerball® Premium ABS®, available in 55, 65, and 75 cm diameters, is a high-quality exercise and therapy ball manufactured according to the strict specifications of the new EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745) . As a Class 1 medical device, it is suitable for professional use in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and medicine , as well as for targeted training at home. Thanks to the burst-proof ABS® anti-burst system, the ball offers maximum safety during every workout. The elastic, odorless material is latex-free, made from 100% recyclable plastic, and is extremely durable – up to 1000 kg static load (up to 120 kg dynamic load).
The ball is used by physiotherapists, rehabilitation facilities, and back training centers and is equally suitable for use in home gyms. It is particularly recommended for people with back problems, herniated discs, muscular imbalances , or simply for anyone who wants to sit ergonomically and actively – whether in the office or at home.
When sitting dynamically on the MD Powerball®, posture is automatically corrected – without any conscious effort. The body compensates for the minimal instability by activating the deep core muscles, effectively strengthening the back, core, and pelvic floor muscles. At the same time, balance and coordination are improved.
In active therapy – whether orthopedic or neurological – the ball supports the development of motor skills and contributes to holistic rehabilitation.
The MD Powerball® Premium ABS® is made of a special safety material that prevents sudden bursting in the event of damage (e.g., from sharp objects such as needles or edges). Instead, the air escapes slowly and in a controlled manner, significantly minimizing the risk of injury.
Important: Due to the ABS® material, the ball may wrinkle and slightly change shape after inflation. However, these characteristics do not affect the safety or functionality of the ball.
